Sailors aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) lower the ship’s port side anchor during an anchoring evolution.

The operation was conducted on March 2, in Sasebo, Japan.

Green Bay is replacing the decommissioned Austin-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9).
