Baltic Fleet Vessels Practice Artillery Firing

Warships of the Baltic Fleet recently completed an exercise involving artillery firing at various sea range targets.

Small Missile Ship Passat, along with missile motor boats Dimitrovgrad, P-257 and Zarechnyi, conducted the drills which consisted of aiming and firing at light targets which simulated imaginary enemy aircraft.

The drills consisted of different scenarios involving radiation, chemical and biological hazards and fire outbreak in ship compartments. The vessels additionally conducted maneuvering, cooperation and communication operations.
