HMS Defender Arrives in Greenwich, London
Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyer HMS Defender docks in Greenwich, London.
The vessel arrived for the first time in the country’s capital yesterday morning, where it will be moored for six days.
She will be joined by HMS Middleton on Friday.
The vessels are in London in support of the Centenary of the Gallipoli campaign.
HMS Defender is the fifth of the Navy’s six state-of-the-art Type 45 destroyers. She returned from her maiden deployment to the Middle East in December 2014.
