Image of the Day: LCAC Heads towards USS Ashland

A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) from Naval Beach Unit 7 transits towards the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) for an unload.

The operation was conducted while the vessel was sailing in the vicinity of Okinawa, Japan, on June 8.
