US Navy’s Destroyer Pays Visit to Plymouth, UK

The US destroyer USS Jason Dunham sailed into Devonport Naval Base, UK, to begin a five day visit on Friday, July 31.

USS Jason Dunham has been on deployment from her home port of Norfolk, Virginia since January this year. She has visited various European countries such as Montenegro, Bulgaria and Poland.

The ship will leave Devonport on Wednesday (5 August) to continue her deployment with NATO forces.

USS Jason Dunham, homeported in Norfolk, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
