Electric Boat Wins USS North Dakota Works

Electric Boat Corp. is being awarded a $22,2 million contract action against a previously awarded contract for the planning and execution of USS North Dakota (SSN 784) post-delivery work period.

Electric Boat Corp. will perform planning and execution efforts, including long lead time material procurement, in preparation to accomplish the maintenance, repair, alterations, testing, and other work on USS North Dakota during its scheduled post-delivery work period.

The majority of work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is scheduled to be completed by April 2016.

The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Groton, Connecticut, is the contracting activity.
