Authorities

Spanish Navy’s patrol vessel Vencedora (P79) took a short break from its operations in the city of Malaga.

The vessel, which is deployed on a maritime patrol mission in the Gulf of Cadiz and the Alboran Sea, sailed into Malaga on Sunday, August 23, and departed the city this morning.

While in port, the vessel welcomed numerous visitors.

Vencedora was built as a corvette in Ferrol and delivered to the Navy in 1982. In 2004 it was converted into an Offshore Patrol Boat (P-79).

She is homeported in Cartagena.
