Authorities

German Navy’s auxiliary replenishment ship FGS Berlin will leave its homeport Wilhelmshaven on October 5, 2015, in order to take part in the EU Naval Force Mediterranean operation.

The crew of the FGS Berlin, with Commander Marcel Rosenbohm at the helm, will take over tender Werra’s duties and continue working with the German frigate FGS Schleswig-Holstein.

Looking forward to the upcoming deployment, Commander Rosenbohm said the deployment will be an additional challenge for the crew.

The vessel is scheduled to return to its homeport in February, 2016.
