Bravo Industries acquires Siem Offshore’s combat systems subsidiary

U.S.-based defense and logistics group Bravo Industries announced it has completed negotiations for the acquisition of Siem Offshore’s combat systems subsidiary Consub Defesa e Tecnologia.

Consub is involved in naval military combat management and command and control systems in South America. Aligned under the Bravo Defesa LLC business segment, Consub is now known as “Consub, a Bravo Industries company”.

Consub is responsible for the development of the “SICONTA – System Tactical Control” which forms the core of all Brazilian warships including frigates which were submitted to the modernization process “MODFRAG”.

According to Bravo Industries, the Brazilian company is now in the process of developing an advanced system for submarines.
