Polish Navy minehunter ORP Wigry joined German Navy mine countermeasure ships from the Kiel-based 3rd Minesweeping Squadron for mine countermeasure drills in the Baltic Sea.

German units taking part in the exercise included minehunters Datteln and Sulzbach-Rosenberg, minesweeper Pegnitz and tender Donau.

In addition to supporting the ships during the drills, Donau also serves as the command platform for the exercise.

During the second week of the exercises, the group was joined by Swedish minehunter Sturkö and a Danish Navy diving team.

The ships spent the weekend in Copenhagen before heading back to German waters on Sunday.
