The Abu Dhabi-based shipbuilder made the announcement at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023), being held in Malaysia until 27 May.

The vessel is designed, constructed and equipped to perform a wide range of coastal missions. It features a helicopter deck and hangar, capacity for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations, two rigid hull inflatable boats, various combat systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and a broad range of countermeasures.

Propelled by combined diesel and diesel (CODAD) engines, it achieves a top speed of 28 knots and an endurance of over 4,500nm at cruising speed.

“Presenting the 92 metre corvette in time for LIMA 2023 marks a significant achievement for us as we reaffirm our commitment to the Southeast Asian markets and expand our product portfolio to meet the challenges and requirements of navies and coastguards around the world. ADSB is demonstrating remarkable progress in designing together with its strategic partners, building, and exporting world-class vessels, and we look forward to presenting its capabilities and engaging with prospective customers during LIMA,” David Massey, CEO of ADSB, said.

The company expects that this multi-role vessel, equipped to perform a range of littoral missions, will meet the demands of the Indo-Pacific region.
