CACI gets $85M US Navy contract for ship and submarine engineering support

Technology company CACI International has won a five-year task order to provide engineering and technical support for US Navy ships, submarines, and other naval vehicles.

The work will continue under the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division’s Naval Architecture and Engineering Department.

Under the US Navy SeaPort Next Generation (NxG) contract vehicle, CACI will offer data analysis, software development, and control system enhancements to improve the design and operation of naval vessels.

The firm’s cybersecurity expertise protects critical naval systems and information, safeguarding the integrity and security of sensitive data.

Through innovative software solutions for ship design and automatic control systems, CACI is enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in developing and maintaining advanced naval capacities, it was highlighted.

“Through our advanced technical support, robust cybersecurity measures, and innovative software-defined solutions, CACI is not only enhancing the Navy’s operational resources but also setting new standards for efficiency and security in naval engineering.”

The contract is valued at up to $85 million and will fund CACI’s critical naval engineering services.

CACI has helped the US Navy to modernize digital tools in the acquisition enterprise for the navy’s Digital Integration Support Cell (DISC) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.
