The Chief of Navy of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Vice Admiral (VADM) Russell Crane, was conferred Singapore’s prestigious military award, the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Tentera) [or Meritorious Service Medal (Military)], by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen at an investiture held at the Ministry of Defence this afternoon.

The medal was awarded to VADM Crane in recognition of his significant efforts and contributions in forging closer bilateral ties between the RAN and the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
