ANADOLU Shipyard Starts Sea Acceptance Test of Eight Vessel of LCT Project for Turkish Navy

ANADOLU Shipyard, on August 13th 2012, started Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT) of the Eight Vessel of Landing Craft Tank (LCT) project undertaken for Turkish Navy.

ANADOLU Shiphard has already delivered the first seven vessels of the LCT project (TCG Ç-151; TCG Ç-152; TCG Ç-153; TCG Ç-154; TCG Ç-155; TCG Ç-156; TCG Ç-157) from March to July of this year and the Eight Vessel (TCG Ç-158) will be ready to be delivered on August 29th 2012.

The SAT of Ç-158 is expected to be completed by the third week of August and the delivery to Turkish Navy is expected by the end of August 2012.

Thus, the LCT program will be completed ON TIME as planned 37 months after the start of the project.

Range: 400 nm / 16 kts

Propulsion: 2 x 2320 kW

Crew: 22

Cargo: 320 tons / 250 troop
