As disclosed, CAE Prodigy synthetic environment system has been integrated into upgraded NH90 NTH Sea Lion full-mission simulator suites for the German Navy under a contract awarded by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.

The upgrade introduces a new image generation system designed to support high-fidelity visual environments and enable consistent transitions between live and simulated training conditions.

The system is intended to support rear-crew training in complex helicopter mission scenarios, including hoisting, door gunnery, and cargo operations, through synchronized exterior visuals and mixed reality environments.

CAE noted the updated simulators include enhanced visual immersion features for rear-crew roles and are configured to support training across multiple mission profiles in the NH90 platform.

According to the company, the integration is part of previous deployments of CAE Prodigy within European defense training programs, including helicopter and fighter training systems.
