Russian Navy’s Caspian Flotilla Starts Maritime Training

As part of a complex inspection of the Southern Military District, the Russian Navy’s Caspian Flotilla commenced maritime training.

A total of ten vessels departed their homeport of Makhachkala for these operations, among them the Russian Stealth Frigate Dagestan, assault motor boats, Grachonok anti-sabotage motor boat, supply and hydrographic service vessels.

The Sailors will work on improving their combat readiness, as well as security and defence operations.

These exercises are scheduled to last for three days.
