Noble Dina 2015 Exercise Commences

Naval and air forces from the U.S., Greece, and Israel commenced the annual maritime exercise Noble Dina 2015, April 29.

Noble Dina 2015 is a trilateral naval exercise designed to increase cooperation and maritime proficiencies among participating nations, enhancing regional security and stability.

U.S. forces participating in the exercise are the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Laboon (DDG 58), Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Lenthall (T-AO 189) and P-3C Orion aircraft from Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, all of which are currently operating forward in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.

Participating forces will conduct a series of at-sea drills to exercise expertise in a number of mission areas.
