HMS Lancaster Farewells Veracruz, Mexico

Royal Navy’s Type 23 frigate HMS Lancaster departed the port of Veracruz, Mexico yesterday morning.

The vessel was in port from Saturday, May 2.

After a short break from operation, this versatile multi-role vessel, HMS Lancaster, continued to its anti-drug deployment in the Caribbean.

The frigate, which joined the the Navy’s fleet in 1992, id usually deployed in the Caribbean or East of Suez on maritime security patrols.
