General Dynamics Receives Further US Navy’s Work

General Dynamics Information Technology, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded an $8 million modification to previously awarded contract to exercise options for engineering and technical services to support hull, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment on U.S. naval ships.

The contractor will provide professional and technical services to upgrade fluid, habitability, and thermal management systems planned for installation or alterations in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center- Ship Systems Engineering Station programs.

Work will be performed in various ship home ports and is expected to be completed by October 2016.

No funds are being obligated at time of award.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
