ROKS Chungmugong CO Visits Dutch Warship

During a port visit to Salalah in Oman, Dutch Warship, HNLMS Groningen, hosted the commanding officer of the South Korean destroyer, ROKS Chungmugong.

Commander Walter Hansen welcomed Captain Jae-Man Yoo and members of his crew on board on behalf of the EU Naval Force Commander.

Following a tour around the warship, both officers discussed their respective counter-piracy operations and the maritime security situation in Gulf of Aden and along the Somali Coast.

Before departing HNLMS Groningen, Captain Jae-Man Yoo said:

It is of great importance that we continue to engage with other missions in the area and build upon our relationships for the future.
