Sri Lanka Navy Rescues 2 Fishermen Stranded in Chilaw Seas

Naval patrol craft attached to the Western Naval Command rescued two (02) fishermen in Chilaw Seas on 29th December 2012.

Their fishing craft named “Nishantha”, which had left for fishing from Bangadeniya, Negombo on 27th, had developed a mechanical problem and started drifting for 02 days. Naval troops spotting the stranded fishermen, aged 16 and 21, brought them ashore at SLNS Rangalla.
