Chief of New Zealand Navy Pays Visit to HMS Collingwood

Rear Admiral Jack Steer, ONZM, Chief Of New Zealand Navy visited the MWS recently as part of a wider visit to the UK.

During his time at HMS Collingwood the Admiral visited the Maritime Composite Training System, the Bridge Simulator, the Phalanx Maintainer and the Radar Laboratory.

The Admiral then had lunch with students from the New Zealand Navy who are training at HMS Collingwood and HMS Sultan, Gosport.

The photograph shows the Admiral (centre) being briefed on the Bridge Simulator by Mr David Goddard, supported by Lieutenant Commander Adam Northover.
