Damen to Deliver Five Tugs to Dutch and Swedish Navies.
DAMEN TUGS

Damen Shipyards Group has been contracted by the Defence Material Organisation of the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) and by the Swedish Forsvarets Materielverk (FMV) for the delivery of five Harbour and Seagoing tugs.

 

Damen’s ASD Tug 2810 Hybrid design has been selected for the Royal Netherlands Navy and another fit-for-purpose design, the ice-classed ASD Tug 3010 ICE, for the FMV.

DAMEN TUGS

The Royal Netherlands Navy purchased three tugs and the FMV two. These tugs are Commercial of the Shelf (they are based on a proven design and product).

Damen will deliver these five tugs in 2015 and 2016.
