Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) participate in a low-light small arms training exercise.

The training was conducted on July 8, while the vessel was sailing in the Mediterranean Sea.

Ross is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
