Commander CSG 4 Boards USS Ramage

The commander of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 visited the guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage (DDG 61) Sept. 6 during a training exercise in preparation for an upcoming deployment.

During the course of his visit, crew members provided Rear Adm. Richard Butler a tour of Ramage’s controlling stations to witness first-hand how Ramage executes various tactical missions leveraged by the exercise.

Butler also took time to visit with officers in the Wardroom.

Ramage is underway participating in a composite training unit exercise with the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group.
