As informed, the contract is being managed through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and will be executed in two phases. It includes the delivery of multiple units of the company’s SENTINEL 2.0 and SENTINEL 30 remote weapon stations, equipped with 12.7 mm and 30 mm calibers, respectively.

The contract marks a further step in EM&E Group’s cooperation with the Portuguese Navy and expands the company’s presence in the naval defense sector.

The supplied remote weapon stations are intended to support the operational requirements of Portuguese naval platforms and comply with relevant NATO standards.

EM&E Group’s naval systems are already in service aboard several vessels of the Spanish Navy and have also been selected for a number of international defense programs.

The Portuguese contract adds to the company’s existing naval portfolio and broadens the deployment of its remotely operated weapon station technology within NATO member states.
