UAE’s EDGE enters European market with launch of new company in France

UAE technology company EDGE has launched EDGE Europe, a fully European commercial enterprise, headquartered in Paris.

As disclosed, the new French-registered company introduces a fundamentally different way of building defence capability, one founded on technology-first industrialization, rapid development, and an open, partner-driven ecosystem.

EDGE’s operational base in France marks an initial step in its longer-term presence in Europe. The launch includes two sites: a head office in Paris’s Chaillot district, which will focus on government engagement, partnerships, and regional investment, and an engineering and manufacturing hub in Bordeaux.

The Bordeaux site will support design, integration, and development of advanced systems. It is located within France’s aerospace and defence industrial ecosystem and is connected to supply chains in propulsion, composites, and avionics, as well as nearby universities and research institutions that provide access to engineering talent.
