USA: Raytheon Missile Systems Inks USD 162.23 Million Phalanx CIWS Contract

Raytheon Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is awarded a $162,239,835 not-to-exceed fixed-price requirements contract for performance based logistics support for the Phalanx Close-In-Weapon Systems.

Work will be performed in Louisville, Ky., and is expected to be completed August 2016.

The applicable Navy Working Capital funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This announcement involves Foreign Military Sales requirement to the governments of Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Japan, Poland, and Bahrain, which will be issued separate delivery orders, on an as-required basis.

This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. One company was solicited for this requirement and one offer was received in response to the solicitation. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-11-D-ZD43).
